Who is it for?

The Torke Cycling Summer School is designed for clients travelling a great distance to Bath to make the most of their training. Past participants have travelled from South Africa, Thailand, India, Singapore, Scotland, Israel. Some experience of bike fitting and / or biomechanics is preferred but not essential. A good working knowledge of the bicycle is essential, as is a passion for the subject.

The training will be delivered in English.

What will we learn?

Attendees will cover Torke Cycling Body Positioning, Foot Correction and one other module depending on the fitters. For a full list of available topics click here.

Location

The Torke Cycling Summer School takes place in historic Combe Down, Bath, UK. It is 1 mile from the University of Bath “The UK’s Top University for Sport”. Bath is a World Heritage Site. Combe Down is where the classic Bath Stone was quarried.

Cost

The cost of training is £1200 for the full course.

Each part may be booked separately at £250/day. Priority will be given to full course bookings.

Accommodation and Transport

As Bath is a popular tourist destination accommodation is readily available. We will offer support and assistance for booking.

Bristol is the nearest airport. Bath Spa is the nearest train station. There are direct links to Heathrow.

Accommodation, food and transport costs are additional to training. Snacks and drinks will be provided throughout the day. Airport and station pick-ups/drop offs can be arranged if necessary.

Can I bring my family?

There is lots to do in Bath and the surrounding area so it makes an ideal holiday location. Bike fitters will be training 9-5 each day so will be needing a rest in the evenings! We will try and include as much local riding as possible too.
